Meet Laura Hester

Ms. Hester serves as the Principal of LJH Development, LLC, leading the development of real estate projects with a focus on senior living communities. With over 25 years of experience in managing the development and construction of senior living facilities across the Midwest and Ontario, Canada, Ms. Hester brings extensive expertise in site acquisition, feasibility analysis, design coordination, entitlements, project oversight, and turnover management.

 

Prior to LJH Development, Ms. Hester held key roles at Sunrise Senior Living, Plante Moran CRESA, REDICO (American House), and a private construction firm in the Midwest, where she oversaw the planning and delivery of senior housing projects. She has been instrumental in the planning, approval, and delivery of over 2,700 senior living units with a total value exceeding $700 million.

 

Ms. Hester earned her Executive MBA from Ohio State University, Max M. Fisher College of Business, and Masters of Architecture from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, MI.
